5. They don’t work out as often as you think they do

So, you dragged yourself out of bed this morning, feeling guilty that you did not go to the gym, again. Statistics show that 67 percent of people who sign up for the gym never use it. 

But we’re not the only ones who don’t keep up with our workout schedules. The Instagram models may have some confessions too

You might see photos of Instagram models frequently on their pages but it does not mean they actually work out that often. These pictures could have been taken at previous workouts and posted later.

Who has that kind of time to take pictures of their workout every day, anyway?

They probably do not work out that often, just like you. So give yourself a break.

Sometimes they can go to the extreme of taking pictures with their workout clothes without doing any workout.

6. Filters can make them look skinnier

Light, filters, action! 

Whereas some people look prettier in person than in their photos, the same cannot be said for people who use lighting and filters to make themselves appear perfect in pictures.

These days anyone can have the perfect body shape in photos. You only need to know the suitable filters to sculpt your body into what you want. Combine that with the proper lighting, and you might look almost like the Instagram models you admire.

Instagram models will not tell you the hard truths that sometimes they depend on filters and lighting to make them appear thinner than they are. 

That will mean admitting their actual weight, and most people run from their weight like a plague.

7. They don’t always follow a healthy diet

Instagram models seem to be the only ones who listened to their moms when they were told to eat their vegetables when they were kids. They post photos of themselves eating carrots, lots of greens, apples, and bananas. 

The rest of us can’t get enough of the burgers and chicken. Well, that is not exactly true.

Instagram models will not share the truth that they binge on burgers, chicken, and chips more than a little. They do not show it, but they probably do not have perfect diets like we think they do. 

They do not go about with green juices every day so release yourself from the pressure of keeping up with the Joneses.

It is okay to admire Instagram models. However, you should not live your life by their standards of beauty or body weight. 

You do not know what hides beneath all the glam, and you will constantly be chasing after the wind if you fail to acknowledge these hard truths. 

Live your best life, in the most authentic way possible.
